Transmedia corporation carries a national mandate of operating both radio and television transmitters in Zimbabwe and enjoys a great working corporation with all radio and television content providers. We aim to achieve full national coverage with radio services.
FM Radios Categories
There are six FMs services licensed by the regulator with nation-wide coverage.
Star Fm, Zifm, National Fm, Power Fm, Classic Fm, Radio Zim
Commercial radios broadcasters licensed to offer metropolitan cities and towns with radio services.
The list has grown over few past years.
CAPITALK, SKYZMETRO,BREEZE FM, DIAMOND FM, YAFM, HEVOI, KHULUMANI, MIDLANDS, CENTRAL Radio
These a free-to-air radio broadcasting service not operated for profit but its main aim is programming that provides service to the communities.
These are radio services targeted for specialty audience in a very localized geographic area like schools, college, university etc. Most tertiary institutions have applied and some are already broadcasting while others are building.

It is the government of Zimbabwe’s desire to leverage the lives of the ordinary Zimbabweans and one of the United nations millennium goals the ITU to see countries moving away from analogue television broadcasting to digital and Zimbabwe has shown keen interest to make sure its populace does not lag behind many other countries. A digital network is being installed and the project s at about 35% completion
When we Go Digital
Zimbabwe is considering a dual strategy in its Digital Tv Migration. This will make sure every corner of Zimbabwe recieving the signals ether from nearby transmission or from satellite. Reception from local transmission center is called Terrestial while from satellite is Direct to the Home (DTH).
